Great footage and easy to use:

I purchased this camera to film a construction project. The image quality is very good and the resolution means that even objects as far as 30 metres away are still easy to see. The files are relatively small too - a 7 day continuous film shot at best quality with HDR enabled at 30 minute time intervals is around 90Mb. Battery life has also proved to be very good. So far 21 days continuous use from a set of AA batteries is excellent and according to the onboard battery level indicator there is still 60% remaining!!

The menu seems a little cumbersome to begin with but simple enough once you have played with it a few times to understand how it works and there are a number of custom options that are also easy to adjust.

the only slight issue (if i'm being really picky) is that when recording, the camera screen turns off and there is a very small blinking led to indicate that it is on, but this only goes off when it takes a picture so it is difficult to know for sure that it is still running. You have to just trust that it is, which is why I have been saving the video every 7 days in case I didn't turn it on correctly, then the most time I can lose is 7 days.

Overall a very good camera that has produced exactly the result we were looking for at a decent price.

As a professional videographer, I'm a skeptic. But, this TLC Pro is an excellent camera. I've performed extensive testing in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings and I've been very pleased. It's extremely easy to use - out of the box - but if you wish to access more sophisticated settings you can. The ability to focus is excellent as are the exposure, saturation and contrast controls. Plus, the low light capabilities are wonderful. I've been shooting from dawn to dusk and it handles the extremes very well. I highly recommend it.
